Sirdar's Saltaire is an alpaca blend in an aran weight that knits into a beautifully soft fabric with a luxurious drape. We’ve honoured the natural, animal fibres in Sirdar Saltaire by naming our shades to celebrate our home-grown flora and fauna.  Saltaire is a real pleasure to knit, the yarn runs gently through the fingers and slides over needles while the soft natural alpaca fibres allow the stitches to plump-out, giving an all-over evenness and slight haze to your finished fabric. 

Machine washable, wool cycle, wash dark colours separately, dry flat. reshape while wet, do not iron, may be dry cleaned.
