This bobbin is perfect for storing those yarn scraps or as an aide when fair isle knitting.  

These are a great size if you are doing intarsia or stranded (fair isle) knitting! You just wrap the yarn around the bobbin length-wise and the little tab at the top keeps it from unwinding more yarn than you need at a time.
